Calibration of the INCONE60 Cargo Flow Model
The meeting took place in the headquarters of the Oostende Port in Belgium. It aimed to test the INCONE60 Cargo Flow Model, find bugs and plan necessary calibration steps.
The meeting was attended by Gdynia Maritime University, Maritime Institute, Port Oostende and an external expert - Jean-Paul Dezutter.
Jean-Paul Dezutter (https://www.jpdezutter.com/) is an experienced maritime consultant continuously engaged in strategic operations and management support across various segments of the shipping industry. He offers bespoke consultancy to Industry Stakeholders on Laytime issues, Clause design, Speed Claims and Charter Operations.
As a Laytime expert, he lectures Laytime, Demurrage and Operations at the Cambridge Academy of Transport and he is a frequent speaker on the subject at several International Maritime Institutes and fora.
He is also a Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association.
As a result of this fruitful meeting, participants develop a precise path to gain the expected results and improve the INCONE60 Cargo Flow Model. Within next days the next contract will be signed between Gdynia Maritime University and Inero Software for the simulator extension. It will be extended by new functionality.
